After visiting her parents in the Jacksonville area on several occasions, Uyen (Winn) and her family decided to move from the Atlanta area to Jacksonville. She was born in Saigon, Vietnam and immigrated to the United States with her family when she was an infant. Her father was in the Vietnamese Navy, allies of the US Navy at the time, making it possible for her entire family to evacuate from Vietnam with the US Naval troops at the Fall of Saigon in 1975. Denver, Colorado is where her parents decided to settle, and where Uyen helped her family run their multiple family businesses. For many years she was in the beauty industry, and decided to earn her degree in nursing, while raising her son as a single parent, and running her own business.
Today Uyen maintains her license as a registered nurse, but has since earned her license as a real estate agent where she has been successful in Georgia and Florida. It brings her great joy in helping others to buy and sell real estate. "I truly have a passion for helping others in real estate because I remember the helpless feeling my parents had during a real estate transaction at a time when they were not fluent in understanding or speaking English yet. It felt like everyone around them was somewhat condescending to them, and I never want anyone to feel that way."
Uyen now lives in the Durbin Crossing subdivision in Saint Johns, Florida with her husband and 11-year old son. She attends the River of Life Church, and loves to volunteer at the church pumpkin patch. Past clients rave about her attention to detail and how she diligently works for them. She is honored to have the opportunity to help others in attaining their goals, and is proud to be part of Future Home Realty.
